Role Summary Red Orange Infotech is seeking skilled QA Engineers to join our team in Gurugram, India. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions by designing and executing comprehensive test strategies using modern tools like Cypress, JMeter, and Postman. You will collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to validate microservices, real-time data flows, and performance under load, ensuring seamless delivery of innovative IT solutions. This is a full-time position requiring 3-7 years of experience, with a 5-day work-from-office commitment in Gurugram. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute automated test scripts using Cypress for web application testing, ensuring functional and regression test coverage. Conduct API testing with Postman to validate RESTful services, focusing on data accuracy and endpoint reliability. Design and perform load and performance testing using JMeter to ensure applications meet scalability and responsiveness benchmarks. Implement testing for Kubernetes and microservices deployments, validating containerized applications in a distributed environment. Test Kafka message flows to ensure reliable data streaming and integrity across services, using data validation techniques for streams. Leverage Azure Pipelines to automate testing workflows, integrating with CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance. Ensure comprehensive data validation across streams, identifying inconsistencies and ensuring data integrity in real-time systems. Right Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a meticulous and proactive QA Engineer who adopts a fail-fast mindset, rapidly identifying defects to iterate and improve, and is unafraid to dive deep into complex systems to ensure quality. You are committed to maintaining customer trust by delivering reliable, bug-free solutions and never compromising on quality commitments. With 3-7 years of experience in quality assurance, you excel in a collaborative environment and have a strong understanding of modern testing frameworks, microservices architectures, and performance testing. You are passionate about ensuring robust software delivery and have a proven track record of validating distributed systems. Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, you are willing to work from our Gurugram office 5 days a week and contribute to Red Orange Infotech’s mission of driving innovation through process-driven technology solutions. Must Have Skills Proficiency in Cypress, JMeter, and Postman for automated testing, performance testing, and API validation. Experience with Azure Pipelines for automating testing workflows within CI/CD pipelines. Expertise in Kubernetes and microservices deployment testing to ensure quality in distributed systems. Strong knowledge of Kafka message flow testing for validating real-time data streaming. Skills in load and performance testing to ensure application scalability and responsiveness. Proficiency in data validation across streams to maintain data integrity in distributed environments. Analytical and detail-oriented approach to identifying defects and ensuring quality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration. Advanced problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems. Nice to Have Skills Familiarity with additional testing tools like Selenium or RestAssured for broader test coverage. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana) to analyze test results in real-time. Knowledge of security testing practices to identify vulnerabilities in microservices. Observant and able to remain focused on repetitive testing tasks for extended periods. Qualifications and Work Mode Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3-7 years of relevant experience in quality assurance and testing. 5-day work-from-office role based in Gurugram, India.
