Software Development Engineer Intern

As an SDE Intern at Grid OS, you will play a key role in building and maintaining internal applications and tools that support our cutting-edge IoT platform. This internship provides a unique opportunity to work across the full development stack, including frontend, backend, and DevOps, while gaining hands-on experience with modern technologies in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain frontend interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, with a strong focus on state management using Redux.
• Support backend development using technologies such as python, Node.js, or Java, and integrate with databases like MySQL or MongoDB.
• Assist in DevOps activities including CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and monitoring of internal tools and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
• Review and analyze codebases, identify bugs or improvements, and make relevant changes to enhance application performance and maintainability.
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and actively apply new technologies to improve development processes.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree (UG/PG) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Solid understanding of full-stack web development, including HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with frontend frameworks (e.g., React) and state management libraries like Redux.
• Familiarity with backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot).
• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Docker, etc.).
• Experience with code review processes, identifying logical and structural issues in codebases.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
