About the role

years experience in software
development

Comfortable working with React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript for
building responsive UIs

Good understanding of
HTML5, CSS3, and styling frameworks

Basic knowledge of
Java, Spring Boot, and SQL for backend development

Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or GCP

Understanding of software engineering
fundamentals, version control (e.g. Git), and awareness of CI/CD concepts

Interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to learn core cyber security
principles and practices

You will be responsible for

Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity
and due diligence and have these specific risk responsibilities:

Technical Contribution: Support the design and development of cyber
software solutions, contributing to discussions and learning from moreexperienced team members.

System Architecture Exposure: Gain experience working with scalable and
efficient system architectures, following Tesco standards and established bestpractices.

Coding: Write clean, maintainable code and take part in
code reviews to both learn from peers and gradually contribute feedback toothers. Focus on continuously improving coding skills and code quality.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams,
sharing progress and asking questions to deepen understanding. Communicatetechnical ideas clearly within the team and adapt explanations for differentaudiences.
