SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER 3

Summary of the Role

You’ll design, build, and maintain automated deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure, supporting seamless application releases and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in DevOps practices.

In This Role You’ll

• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated, reliable application releases.

• Support product owners and collaborate with project teams to address priorities and resolve technical issues.

• Ensure high availability and cost optimization of cloud infrastructure.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.

• Communicate with teams to support feature delivery and maintain flexibility for project needs.

• Mentor peers and share knowledge on automation, tools, and DevOps best practices.

About the Ideal Candidate

• 6–8 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.

• Proficiency in Unix administration, scripting (Bash, Python, or Go), and DevOps tools (GIT, Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, ArgoCD).

• Experience with Azure DevOps Services, Docker, and Kubernetes for orchestration and management.

• Familiarity with Openshift, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.

• Effective communicator with experience working in Agile/SAFe environments and with geographically dispersed teams.

• Experience with monitoring, automation, and infrastructure management tools.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow, security tools, and software inventory management is a plus.
