Job Title : Software Developer
Role Overview
Tertius is seeking a Software Developer with Systems Architecture experience to design, develop, and maintain custom software solutions aligned with the company’s internal operational needs. This role requires hands-on development capability along with a clear understanding of system design, data flow, and integrations.
The focus is on building practical, reliable software that supports sales operations, finance, inventory, reporting, and automation at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop custom software solutions based on Tertius’ business requirements.
Analyze existing systems and propose architectural improvements where needed.
Build, modify, and maintain internal applications, automation workflows, and integrations.
Translate business processes into scalable technical designs and implementations.
Work with APIs, databases, and third-party platforms to ensure seamless data flow.
Ensure system reliability, data accuracy, and proper error handling.
Debug, optimize, and refactor existing codebases used in production.
Maintain documentation for system architecture, logic, and workflows.
Required Experience & Skills
Experience in system architecture concepts such as modular design, data flow, and integration planning.
Hands-on experience in software development (JavaScript required).
Experience developing custom applications and business logic.
Knowledge of APIs, databases, and backend workflows.
Ability to work with and improve existing systems.
Familiarity with ERP/CRM platforms (Zoho preferred).
Experience using version control tools such as Git.
