Python Developer – Chatbot Platform Location: Mumbai (On-site) Experience: 1–2 years About CAW Technologies CAW Technologies specializes in AI automation, digital transformation, and custom AI-driven product engineering. Our expertise in Conversational AI, Agentic AI, and chatbot solutions helps businesses optimize operations and enhance customer engagement. We are looking for a Python Developer with strong Django experience to join our engineering team in Mumbai. You will be working on building and customizing chatbot solutions using a third-party conversational AI platform, while also interfacing directly with clients to deliver real business value. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain chatbot logic and integrations using Django. Build robust backend APIs and services that integrate with third-party platforms via RESTful APIs. Translate client requirements into technical implementations and lead platform configurations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, frontend, and project management. Troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability of production deployments. Participate in client calls, understanding use cases, and drive tailored solutions. Requirements 1–2 years of professional experience as a Python Developer, with must-have experience in Django . Solid understanding of Django views, models, ORM, middleware, and REST framework. Experience working with external APIs (REST/webhooks) and data interchange formats like JSON. Familiarity with session handling, user auth, and secure API development. Exposure to chatbot or conversational AI platforms is a strong advantage. Basic familiarity with deploying Django apps on cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication. Comfortable working directly with clients in a solution-oriented environment. Preferred Tools & Technologies Django, Django REST Framework Python libraries: requests , Celery (optional) PostgreSQL or MySQL, Redis (optional) Git, Postman, Docker (nice to have) Familiarity with messaging APIs (WhatsApp, Messenger) is a plus Experience or familiarity with AI productivity tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Copilot Agent Why Join Us?
