Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Worker. The role is located in Madhya Pradesh, India. The Social Worker will be responsible for engaging with local communities, assessing their needs, developing and implementing intervention plans, providing support and resources, and collaborating with other professionals and organizations. Daily tasks will include conducting interviews, maintaining case files, reporting on progress, and ensuring compliance with legal and organizational policies.

Qualifications

Demonstrated skills in counseling, crisis intervention, and active listening
Experience in community engagement, social justice advocacy, and public speaking
Strong case management and coordination skills
Ability to work with diverse populations and understand cultural sensitivities
Proficient in maintaining detailed records and data management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field is preferred
Experience in a non-governmental organization or related field is a plus
