Social Worker

Education : Master in Social Work - Male preferred - Rotation Shifts

Initial screening and evaluation of patient and families.

Assisting patients and families in communicating with health care team

Educating patients on the levels of health care, treatment cost and community resources

Financial assessment and fund management - identifying and referring cases for financial

assistance. (Hospital concession, donation fund, Trust, and other funding sources)

Collecting relevant documents from patients as recommended (request letter from

patient, ID proof, Ration card, CMCHIS card, Income proof, recommendation letter etc.,)

Liaison with doctors, patient attender, billing, and accounts to update the funding details.

Daily monitoring and collection of patient payment dues (contacting pt attender in person,

over phone)

Updating the patient commitment on payment dues in the HIS

Coordinating with primary consultants on critical payment issues and updating the same

to the concerned officials (CEO, MD, CMFA, Mng Pt Care)

Crisis Intervention

Reporting MLC to police and coordinating with the formalities.

Attending to the VIP patients

Filling HIV consent forms.

Supervision of social work students and trainees

Checking on patient’s delays in the front office and OPD and resolving.

Orient patients regarding various facilities available at KKCTH

Solve patient concerned trouble shoot on the spot in OPD and IP.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
