Role Objective

Deliver engaging, concept-driven Social Science classes for Classes 6–12, improve learning outcomes, and uphold school academic and pastoral standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Delivery:

    Plan and teach board-aligned lessons; use activities, case studies, debates/role-plays, and inquiry-based learning.
  • Assessment:

    Prepare worksheets, class tests, and term exams; evaluate fairly and share timely feedback.
  • SST Essentials:

  • History:

    timelines, sources & evidence, cause–effect analysis.
  • Geography:

    map work

    , atlas/data interpretation, environment & sustainability.
  • Political Science/Civics:

    constitution, democratic processes, rights & responsibilities, debate on current issues.
  • Economics:

    basic micro/macro concepts, data charts, everyday economics & financial literacy.
  • Current Affairs Integration:

    Connect syllabus to contemporary events with balanced, non-partisan discussion.
  • Records & Communication:

    Maintain lesson plans, marks, and LMS; coordinate with parents and academic coordinators; participate in PTMs.
  • Departmental Work:

    Question bank creation, project/fieldwork coordination, exhibition/club activities.
  • Senior/HOD (add-on):

    Annual plan & syllabus mapping, peer mentoring & observations, result ownership, audit & compliance.
Qualifications
  • TGT:

    Bachelor’s in relevant subject (B.A.) +

    B.Ed (preferred/mandatory as per school policy)

  • PGT:

    Master’s in relevant subject (M.A.) +

    B.Ed (preferred/mandatory as per policy)

    .
  • Strong command of English/Hindi (regional language is a plus).
  • Freshers with solid subject fundamentals and good communication may apply for Associate roles.
