Hiring: Social Media Strategist & Content Lead (Instagram)

GenC Media is expanding its social media team. We work with multiple brands across food, education, fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment. We’re looking for someone who understands Instagram deeply and can convert ideas, insights, and trends into high-performing, well-crafted content.

What you’ll do

• Lead

  Instagram content strategy and ideation

  for multiple brands
• Write

  strong reel scripts

  with clear hooks and storytelling flow
• Plan and manage

  monthly content calendars

  aligned with brand goals
• Research trends, formats, and platform-specific content angles
• Maintain

  Instagram feed aesthetics

  , tone, and visual consistency

• Guide videographers during shoots

  on angles, framing, transitions, and execution
• Collaborate closely with design, video, and strategy teams
• Monitor content performance and refine strategy based on insights

Who you are

• Based in

  Ahmedabad (mandatory)

• Strong at content ideation, reel scripting, and storytelling

• Clear understanding of Instagram aesthetics and visual language

• Comfortable with hands-on execution

• Able to translate ideas into shoot-ready directions
• Creative, detail-oriented, and strategy-driven
• Fresher or

  1–2 years of relevant experience

Nice to have

• Experience with content shooting or a good editing sense
• Familiarity with Instagram trends, Meta updates, and Insights
• Exposure to influencer or brand content strategy
• Basic understanding of analytics and performance metrics
