Role Overview

creative, fast-thinking, and detail-oriented Social Media & Content Manager

This role requires strong storytelling ability, video scriptwriting experience, and hands-on ownership of creator-driven content. You will collaborate closely with designers, institute teams, and student creators to build a strong digital presence for India’s leading beauty & wellness education brand.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

1. Social Media Content Management (Organic)

• Build monthly content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Create high-engagement posts around beauty, skin, hair, makeup, and student life.
• Produce compelling content showcasing institute life:
• Student success stories
• Placements
• Events & workshops
• Faculty features

2. Content Ideation & Scriptwriting

• Develop concepts, reel ideas, scripts, supers, and storyboards.
• Identify trending formats and adapt them to VLCC School of Beauty’s tone.

3. Website & Performance Creative Content

• Write content for landing pages, blogs, web pages, and institute information pages.
• Provide copy and content direction for performance creatives (static + video).
• Ensure brand alignment across all Meta & Google creative assets (no media buying involved).

4. Creator & Vendor Management

• Identify, brief, and manage external creators, freelance talent, and student ambassadors.
• Coordinate reel shoots, campus content creation, and faculty-led video sessions.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the design team for creative outputs.
• Coordinate with institute teams for classroom footage, events, testimonials, and workshops.

6. Reporting & Analytics

• Track engagement, reach, and content performance.
• Prepare monthly insights and recommend optimization strategies.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or related fields.
• Certifications in Digital Content, Beauty, or Social Media are a plus.

Experience

• 3–5 years

  of relevant experience in social media & content creation.
• Experience in

  beauty, wellness, education, youth or lifestyle brands

  preferred.
• Must have handled

  Instagram Reels strategy, scripting & creator management
