The Role

We're hiring a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes viral content. You're the person who saw trends before they were trends. You understand why some posts get 10 likes and others get 10 million. You don't just follow the algorithm - you work with it, around it, and sometimes against it to create content that people can't help but share.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute social media strategies across all major platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube) with a laser focus on organic reach and virality. You'll own our social presence end-to-end from strategy to execution to analysis. Create scroll-stopping content that sparks conversations, drives engagement and builds a loyal community around our brand. Monitor trends in real-time and move fast to capitalize on opportunities. Analyze what's working and what's not, using data to inform decisions while trusting your creative instincts. Collaborate with our team to align social media efforts with broader marketing and business goals.

Who You Are

You have a proven track record of creating viral or high-performing content with measurable results to back it up. You understand platform algorithms, audience psychology, and the science behind shareability. You're a native of the digital world - you know the difference between a TikTok trend and an Instagram Reel strategy. You're creative, scrappy, and resourceful, able to produce compelling content without massive budgets. You can write captions that stop thumbs mid-scroll and design or direct visuals that demand attention. You're data-informed but not data-paralyzed, balancing analytics with creative risk-taking. You move fast, adapt quickly and aren't afraid to experiment and fail forward.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on social media management experience with demonstrable viral success. Portfolio showcasing content you've created that achieved significant organic reach and engagement. Deep understanding of social media analytics and platform-specific best practices. Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling hooks and narratives. Basic design and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, or similar tools). Finger on the pulse of internet culture, memes, and trending topics. Self-starter mentality with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Bonus Points

Experience with paid social advertising and influencer partnerships. Background in content creation as a creator yourself. Understanding of SEO and how social media drives website traffic. Experience in our industry or with similar target audiences.
