Instinct First is a next-gen streetwear and lifestyle brand redefining youth culture in India. With bold designs, creative collaborations, and a fast-paced drop model, we’re building more than a clothing label—we’re building a movement. We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes content, culture, and community.


ROLE OVERVIEW

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for shaping the brand’s digital presence across Instagram, TikTok/Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant platforms. From strategy to execution, you’ll lead content calendars, campaigns, influencer collaborations, and community engagement—turning followers into loyal fans and customers.

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute monthly/quarterly social media strategies aligned with brand goals, launches, and campaigns.
  • Identify platform trends, cultural moments, and viral opportunities to integrate into the brand’s narrative.


Content & Campaigns

  • Own the content calendar: plan, brief, and oversee creation of posts, reels, stories, and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with creative/design teams for high-quality visual content.
  • Script and guide UGC, influencer content, and brand shoots.


Community & Engagement

  • Drive engagement across channels: respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a brand-right tone.
  • Grow the community by fostering conversation and encouraging user-generated content.


Growth & Analytics

  • Monitor performance metrics (reach, engagement, CTR, conversions) and optimize strategy accordingly.
  • Track competitor activities and industry benchmarks.
  • Run experiments with paid + organic content to drive audience growth.


Collaborations & Partnerships

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage influencer/creator collaborations.
  • Support in brand partnerships, event activations, and campaign rollouts.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 2–4 years of proven experience in social media management, preferably in fashion, streetwear, lifestyle, or youth-focused brands.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging digital platforms.
  • A creative eye with an instinct for what’s culturally relevant, aesthetic, and viral-worthy.
  • Hands-on experience with content planning, copywriting, and basic design/video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe suite).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics and adapt strategy.
  • A passion for streetwear, fashion, music, and youth culture is a must.
