Location: Siliguri / Head Office
Department: Marketing & Communications
Reports To: Head of Marketing / Director
Experience: 4–8 years in Social Media Marketing
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Salary: Negotiable

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Social Media Manager to oversee and manage the brand’s presence across all major social media platforms. This role requires a balance of creativity, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making to grow our digital footprint and engage a wide audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and WhatsApp Business
  • Plan and publish engaging, on-brand content: posts, stories, reels, videos, and live sessions
  • Manage daily interactions: respond to comments, DMs, queries, and engage with followers
  • Coordinate with design, content, and product teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging
  • Plan and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Ads, etc.)
  • Track, analyze, and report performance metrics using tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and platform-specific insights
  • Keep up with platform updates, algorithm changes, and industry trends to optimize strategy
  • Collaborate with influencers, partners, and communities to expand brand reach
  • Manage online brand reputation and community feedback effectively

Key Skills Required:

  • Deep understanding of all major social platforms and their unique algorithms
  • Excellent content creation and copywriting skills
  • Proficiency in scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, Meta Ads Manager)
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe tools, etc.)
  • Strong communication, planning, and project management skills
  • Ability to interpret data and adapt strategies based on performance insights
  • Creative mindset with an eye for trends and audience preferences
  • Experience managing both organic and paid campaigns
