Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a Social Media Manager based in Kolkata. The role involves managing and optimizing social media platforms, developing strategies to enhance engagement, and creating compelling content. Responsibilities include implementing social media campaigns, monitoring analytics, and identifying new trends. Collaboration with teams to align social media strategies with overall brand goals is a key aspect of the role.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and manage daily content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
• Write engaging captions and strategize for maximum reach and engagement.
• Coordinate with designers, editors, and clients to bring campaigns to life.
• Track performance metrics and prepare weekly/monthly reports with actionable insights.
• Research and stay up to date with the latest trends, reels formats, platform updates, and competitor activities.
• Respond to DMs, comments, and manage community engagement professionally.
• Assist in planning influencer collaborations, contests, and hashtag campaigns.

• Requirements:

• 3-4 years of proven experience in managing brand social media handles.
• Strong command over Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.
• Ability to write crisp, witty, and brand-aligned content.
• Basic understanding of analytics tools like Meta Business Suite, Creator Studio, etc.
• A keen eye for visual storytelling and content aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Experience working in an agency setup is a plus.
