Social Media Intern

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This role offers hands-on experience in digital marketing and content creation, with the opportunity to contribute to real campaigns and build a strong portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok, etc.) IndeedIndeed
• Develop weekly and monthly content calendars to support consistent brand presence.
• Write engaging captions, draft social copy, and craft short-form content (reels, stories, videos).
• Monitor audience engagement: respond to comments and messages, and help manage community interactions.
• Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools, preparing basic performance reports.
• Research trending topics, hashtags, and competitor content for strategic insights.
• Support the team during live or online events and campaigns, assisting with content creation and coordination.
• Help ideate and contribute to influencer campaigns and PR outreach efforts.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of key social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter/X).
• Strong writing and communication skills, with attention to grammar and storytelling.
• Familiarity with content creation tools like Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite is a plus.
• Basic skills in graphic or video editing (e.g., Photoshop, InShot, CapCut) are advantageous.
• Creativity, organization, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
