Role Overview

Data Engineer

The selected candidate will work alongside senior engineers and analysts to ensure timely, accurate, and reliable data delivery for business operations and decision-making. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about data engineering and ready to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, and supporting tools
• Support the ingestion, transformation, and loading of structured and semi-structured datasets into Snowflake
• Assist in data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
• Participate in version-controlled workflows using Git or Azure DevOps
• Document data flows, pipeline configurations, and data lineage for internal use
• Identify and resolve data quality issues and pipeline bottlenecks

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have:

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or SQL development
• Proficiency in Snowflake, including scripting, table design, data loading, and querying
• Strong knowledge of SQL and query optimization techniques
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD processes
• Understanding of ETL concepts and tools such as Azure Data Factory, DBT, or similar
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience working with supply chain, logistics, or operations datasets
• Exposure to Python scripting for data transformation and orchestration
• Understanding of Snowflake features like Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and UDFs
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau
