Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of insurance professionals to achieve set performance targets and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Set, monitor, and analyze team KPIs, including performance metrics and turnaround times (TATs).
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance team skills and productivity.
• Develop and implement strategies to meet customer retention goals and improve client satisfaction.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards and foster strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with corporate teams and insurance units to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
• Liaise with insurance partners to optimize products and services offered to clients.
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and internal policies.
• Apply sound knowledge of medical underwriting in operational and strategic decisions.
  

Qualifications And Skills

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, preferably in team leadership or managerial roles.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
• Experience in performance monitoring, goal setting, and achieving business targets.
• Ability to design and deliver effective training and development programs.
• Excellent customer service orientation and client relationship management skills.
• Sound understanding of insurance products, regulations, and medical underwriting processes.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in strategic planning and business development.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in the insurance sector is highly desirable.
