Smart City / Construction Monitoring

Purpose/Objective

Responsible for leading Smart City Digital Transformation Initiatives, identifying and defining key use case, and delivery of digital projects with required business value, with quality and desired benefits to user. Will be responsible for tracking and reporting on all projects/products, flagging risks and planning. Help the CDO to implement digital governance mechanism and report against departmental KPIs

Key Responsibilities of Role

The skill: - Proven track record of successfully managing complex Smart City digital infrastructure projects, - IT Consulting resource (generalist) - experience in consulting/ private sector, eGov transformation, Smart city projects Business Analyst/ Project management experience in Technology Implementation/ consulting projects The candidate should possess post-qualification relevant work experience of 10+ years in Consulting /IT/ITES firm. Solution-oriented, business acumen, change advocate, strong leadership communication, and translating business needs into IT/Digital processes. - Deep understanding of digital technologies, including emerging trends such as Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Cloud computing, and Data analytics. Had prior experience in designing and developing systems and have effectively managed and deployed them. - Excellent interpersonal (communication and presentation) and organizational skills - Problem-solving abilities and a can-do attitude - Superb persuading and influencing skills. - Strong commercial acumen in budget management and resource allocation to ensure the efficient use of resources for digital projects. Good to have skills: Digital content creation Cloud Computing Responsibilities: - Define and articulate the organization's digital transformation vision, goals, and objectives. - Develop a roadmap for digital transformation initiatives and projects, outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements. - Establish and enforce digital project management methodologies, processes, and best practices and standardization across the organization. - Define digital project governance frameworks, including decision-making processes and escalation paths. - Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of digital technologies and processes across the organization. - Identify potential risks and issues across digital projects and develop risk mitigation strategies. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on digital project status, progress, and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Technical Competencies

IT Consulting resource (generalist) - experience in consulting/ private sector, eGov transformation, Smart city projects,Business Analyst/ Project management experience in Technology Implementation/ consulting projects ,Solution-oriented, business acumen, change advocate, strong leadership communication, and translating business needs into IT/Digital processes.

Qualifications and Experience

- MBA from a reputed institution with bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. The candidate should possess post-qualification relevant work experience of 10+ years in Consulting /IT/ITES firm.
