Job Description

Job Title: Site Supervisor – Retail Fit-outs, Fixtures & Interiors

Location: on various site
Department: Store Development / Project Management / Operations
Reports To: Project Manager / Store Development Manager

Job Summary:

The Site Supervisor for Retail Fit-outs, Fixtures, and Interiors will oversee and coordinate all on-site activities related to the interior build-out, fixture installation, and finishing works of retail stores. This role ensures that the store environment reflects the brand’s standards for aesthetics, functionality, and customer experience while adhering to project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the installation of fixtures, fittings, display units, shelving, lighting, flooring, and other interior elements.
  • Ensure all interior works meet design specifications, brand guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Work closely with contractors, interior designers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery and installation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Manage site labor, equipment, and materials to optimize workflow and minimize delays.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely availability of materials and fixtures.
  • Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly to avoid project delays.
  • Ensure proper documentation of work progress, site conditions, and any changes to the scope.
  • Enforce health and safety standards on-site during all phases of fit-out and installation.
  • Prepare handover documentation and coordinate with retail operations for store opening readiness.

Requirements:

  • Experience in supervising retail store fit-outs, interior construction, or similar projects.
  • Good understanding of interior finishes, carpentry, electrical fixtures, and retail display systems.
  • Ability to interpret interior design drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple contractors and ensure work quality.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and on-site regulations.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to delays and challenges.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
  • Prior experience working on retail or commercial interior fit-outs.
  • Knowledge of retail merchandising requirements and brand standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
