Job Description

The Site Supervisor for Retail Fit-outs, Fixtures, and Interiors will oversee and coordinate all on-site activities related to the interior build-out, fixture installation, and finishing works of retail stores. Your role is crucial in ensuring that the store environment aligns with the brand's standards for aesthetics, functionality, and customer experience while meeting project timelines and budgets effectively. You will supervise and coordinate the installation of fixtures, fittings, display units, shelving, lighting, flooring, and other interior elements. It is essential to ensure that all interior works adhere to design specifications, brand guidelines, and quality standards. Collaboration with contractors, interior designers, suppliers, and vendors will be key to ensuring the timely and accurate delivery and installation of materials. Regular site inspections will be conducted by you to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations. Efficient management of site labor, equipment, and materials is necessary to optimize workflow and minimize delays. Coordination with procurement and logistics teams will also be a part of your responsibilities to ensure the timely availability of materials and fixtures. Prompt resolution of on-site issues or conflicts is crucial to avoid project delays. It is important to enforce health and safety standards throughout all phases of fit-out and installation. Additionally, preparing handover documentation and coordinating with retail operations for store opening readiness will be among your tasks. To excel in this role, you should have experience in supervising retail store fit-outs, interior construction, or similar projects. A good understanding of interior finishes, carpentry, electrical fixtures, and retail display systems is essential. Strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to interpret interior design drawings and technical specifications, as well as familiarity with safety standards and on-site regulations are important requirements. Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to delays and challenges will be beneficial. Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation purposes are also necessary. A Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline is preferred, along with prior experience in retail or commercial interior fit-outs and knowledge of retail merchandising requirements and brand standards. This is a full-time position with Provident Fund benefits. The work location is on various sites.,
