Job Purpose

Site Supervisor – Fit-Out


Key Responsibilities:


1. Project Supervision

  • Oversee all on-site activities related to interior fit-out projects.
  • Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to design drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Manage daily site operations and promptly resolve any on-site issues or delays.

2. Coordination

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and execution of works.
  • Conduct routine site coordination meetings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the design and project management teams to resolve technical or execution challenges.

3. Quality Assurance & Safety

  • Enforce quality control procedures and ensure compliance with safety standards at all times.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks and monitor safety practices across the site.
  • Maintain detailed records of safety observations and report any incidents promptly.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain site-related documents including daily progress reports, inspection checklists, material delivery logs, and photographic documentation.
  • Update the project team regularly on progress versus schedule.
  • Manage inventory and usage of site materials and resources.

5. Problem Solving

  • Proactively identify potential site issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Address any discrepancies in work execution in coordination with the project management team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in interior fit-out, preferably in commercial, office, or retail environments.
  • In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, interior finishes, and MEP integration.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and compliance requirements.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
  • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
  • High commitment to safety, quality standards, and timely project execution.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time, site-based position.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends based on project needs.
  • Must be physically fit and comfortable working in a construction environment.
