BS or MIS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of direct management of technical roles in a large-scale production environment.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a member of a technical team responsible for a production environment.
• Previous responsibility for hiring and performance management decisions, including managing under-performers.
• Solid understanding of developer tools and concepts like Agile, continuous integration, test-driven deployment.
• Familiarity with Active Directory/Exchange Server/Windows Server internals and core systems .services (Mailbox, Hub Transport/Edge Transport, Client Access, Database Availability Group, Active, Directory, Clustering, DNS, SMTP, DHCP, NFS, SMB, LDAP, etc.).
• Significant experience with system monitoring and alerting.
• Extensive knowledge of basic large-scale Internet service architectures and approaches such as load balancing, LAMP, CDNs, etc.
• Superlative communication skills; ability to interface with multiple levels within a company, as well as with external customers
