Site Lead

As a candidate for this role, your main responsibilities will include: - Building strong and lasting relationships with all stakeholders within the customer's organization - Ensuring all customer issues and queries are attended to promptly with minimal escalations - Establishing relationship-based customer service delivery - Working with the team to deliver top quartile results on customer experience and fostering an owner mindset for Business - Studying the annual volume forecasts developed by the demand planning team of the customer - Creating baseline spend (at overall and transport mode level) using the customer demand forecast and planning for additional capacity/RFQ in coordination with the Customer team - Owning the entire RFQ process from RFI to RFP to RFQ across transport modes - Performing regular vendor evaluations based on set performance measures aligned with the customer - Partnering with the customer purchase/procurement team to evaluate RFQ/tender/spot quote submissions, offers, and negotiating on behalf of the customer - Closing the RFQ process with each service provider through award of business processes such as service agreement signings & onboarding programs - Owning the exception procurement approval process - Working with overseas customer offices on shipment prioritization matrices and carrier allocation - Collaborating with the customer, their plants, and other 3PLs (CHAs, transport operators, carriers) to ensure seamless logistics planning - Coordinating Exports processes across transport modes - Ocean, Air, LCL - from cargo readiness & booking to BL release stage Additionally, you will be responsible for team management, including: - Identifying and developing talent within the team - Leading by example for team members - Monitoring team KPIS and taking corrective actions - Properly delegating work among team members - Providing training for new team members - Identifying areas of revenue leakages - Driving commercials and profits at the customer level Qualifications required for this role include: - SCM background with a proper understanding of international supply chains - Minimum 5 years of work experience from operational roles in the Logistic industry,
