Site Engineer

Job Title: Site Engineer – Solar Projects

Department: Project Execution & Operations

Reports To: Operation head

Job Summary

We are looking for motivated and responsible individuals to join our solar project execution team. The Site Engineer / Technician will assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at project sites. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with basic technical skills who are eager to build a career in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Work & Installation

• Support the installation of solar panels, mounting structures, wiring, and inverters.

• Assist in layout marking, cable routing, and basic electrical/mechanical work.

• Follow project drawings and instructions from senior engineers or supervisors.

2. Site Supervision & Support

• Help maintain safety and quality standards at the site.

• Monitor tools, materials, and inventory under supervision.

• Report daily progress and issues to the Site Engineer / Project Manager.

3. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

• Follow all site safety guidelines and procedures.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain basic daily work logs and site records.

• Support in preparing site completion and inspection reports.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Minimum: 12th Pass (Higher Secondary).

• Preferred: Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Renewable Energy.

• Freshers are welcome to apply. Training will be provided on-site.

Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems (preferred but not mandatory).

• Willingness to work outdoors at project sites.

• Ability to read and follow simple technical instructions and diagrams.

Soft Skills:

• Good communication and teamwork.

• Physically fit and willing to travel or relocate for project work.

• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Career Growth:

Candidates showing good performance will have opportunities to grow into Site Engineer, Supervisor, or Project Coordinator roles with experience and additional training.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
