Job Title: Solar Sales Executive Department: Sales Location: Pune Reports To: Sales Manager / Regional Head Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Solar Sales Executive to promote and sell solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of solar products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships while achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar energy products and solutions. Conduct site assessments and analyze customer energy needs. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations. Educate customers about the benefits of solar energy and financial incentives. Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales to meet or exceed targets. Collaborate with engineering and installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools. Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and government policies related to solar energy. Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company’s offerings. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in sales (solar or renewable energy preferred). Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Technical understanding of solar systems (on-grid/off-grid, hybrid, inverters, panels, etc.) is a plus. Proficient with CRM software and MS Office tools. Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and able to work independently. Willingness to travel as required. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Monthly/quarterly sales targets achieved. Customer acquisition and retention rate. Conversion rate from leads to closed deals. Customer satisfaction and feedback scores. Compensation: Competitive base salary + attractive incentive structure.
