Job Description

Job Title: Solar Sales Executive

Department: Sales
Location: Pune
Reports To: Sales Manager / Regional Head

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Solar Sales Executive to promote and sell solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of solar products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar energy products and solutions.
  • Conduct site assessments and analyze customer energy needs.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Educate customers about the benefits of solar energy and financial incentives.
  • Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
  • Collaborate with engineering and installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and government policies related to solar energy.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company’s offerings.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales (solar or renewable energy preferred).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Technical understanding of solar systems (on-grid/off-grid, hybrid, inverters, panels, etc.) is a plus.
  • Proficient with CRM software and MS Office tools.
  • Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Monthly/quarterly sales targets achieved.
  • Customer acquisition and retention rate.
  • Conversion rate from leads to closed deals.
  • Customer satisfaction and feedback scores.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary + attractive incentive structure.
  • Travel and communication allowances.
  • Incentives and bonuses based on performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹39,356.14 per month
