- Planning/ monitoring of all construction activities on site.
- Assist Site Manager in planning of construction activities within the time as per the Project Execution plan
Responsibilities
- Preparation of Level III schedule for construction in MS Project/ Primavera as per the requirement of client
- Review and comment/ approve the level IV schedule submitted by contractors.
- Study, assess and comment on Contractor’s resources (both Manpower and Tools/ Tackles/ Plant Machinery Resources) for adequacy of executing awarded job within Schedules and in accordance with safe practice.
- Based on given overall programme, assist in establishing weekly / fortnightly programme in agreement with Contractor.
- Conduct regular progress review meetings with Contractors at pre-determined agreed intervals to assess achieved programme vis a vis scheduled programme and prepare & issue Minutes of meeting.
- Assist in forecasting bottlenecks or any other problems, which may impede construction progress and advise persons concerned for expediting for removal of bottlenecks.
- Maintain detailed record of milestone events and construction progress to enable Construction Manager to compile/ issue periodical Progress Reports and Closure Reports on completion of Construction.
- Co-ordinate with Projects / Engineering for timely release of IFC drawings to meet the construction schedule.
- Progress Monitoring , Update schedules
- Highlight the short fall and constraints
- Generate and circulate Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress reports
- Establish various records/ reports /site documentation to be maintained and ensure that these records are properly maintained with the help from other site staff.
- Co-ordination with Client representative in regard to updating planning inputs, etc.
Here's what you'll need
Qualification – Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.Experience – 8 to 20 years in Planning. Must be fully conversant with MS Project and Primavera.Role – Company ContractGraduate in Engineering in Civil/ Mechanical with 8 to 20 years in a leading position including working in PMC /EPCM role. Candidates from Consultancy background would be preferred . Alternatively experience with large EPC contractors. Must be very good in written and verbal communication with leadership skill.At Jacobs we value people.
