Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are executed in accordance with approved plans, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role requires collaboration with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision & Execution:
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications, blueprints, and engineering standards.
• Monitor and control site operations, including material usage, labor management, and machinery coordination.
• Inspect work quality and adherence to safety protocols.
• Project Coordination:
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and subcontractors to interpret project plans and drawings.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of materials.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and timelines.
• Quality Control & Assurance:
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, including progress updates, incidents, and inspections.
• Maintain records of daily site activities and project documentation.
• Ensure proper documentation of design changes or deviations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in civil site engineering or construction supervision.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction management software.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, and site layouts.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Certifications:
• Professional certification (if applicable) or relevant training in safety and quality standards.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Knowledge of project management principles and budgeting.

Work Environment:

• Location: On-site (with occasional office visits for meetings and reporting).
• Work Hours: Full-time; flexibility for overtime during project deadlines.
