Site Civil Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Site Civil Engineer to oversee on-site construction activities and ensure the execution of civil work as per design, quality, and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project site management. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and execute day-to-day civil construction activities at the site Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams to maintain workflow Conduct quality checks on materials and workmanship Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, site records, and documentation Interpret technical drawings and resolve on-site construction issues Monitor resource usage, minimize material wastage, and ensure efficient work practices Ensure adherence to safety regulations and report any hazards or incidents Communicate regularly with project managers and other departments regarding project status Assist in billing, measurement verification, and quantity estimation Requirements: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering Proven 1–4 years of experience in site execution or civil construction projects Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD (basic level) Willing to work on-site at project locations and under varying conditions Preferred Qualifications: Experience in residential/commercial/infrastructure projects Knowledge of quality control standards (ISO, QA/QC practices) Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) Working Conditions: Site-based role with full-day outdoor presence May involve extended hours or work on weekends as per project needs PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) must be worn at all times on-site
