Job Title: Piping Engineer – 3D Design Location: Bareilly Job Type: Full-time Experience Level: 3+ Years Industry: Industrial Projects/ Process Piping Projects Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Piping Engineer proficient in 3D piping design and site execution . The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, layout, and execution of piping systems in industrial projects, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, safety, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities: Design Engineering: Develop and review 3D piping layouts using designated software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D . Generate isometric drawings, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and support details. Coordinate with process, mechanical, structural, and instrumentation teams to ensure piping designs are fully integrated. Perform clash detection and resolution in 3D models. Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) and bill of materials (BOMs) for procurement and construction. Site Execution: Oversee the installation of piping systems as per the approved drawings and specifications. Supervise contractors and ensure execution adheres to quality, safety, and schedule requirements. Conduct site surveys and as-built documentation. Monitor and resolve site-related issues, including interface with other disciplines. Coordinate pressure testing, flushing, and pre-commissioning activities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in piping design and site execution. Proficiency in 3D piping design tools . Familiarity with piping codes and standards (ASME B31.3, API, ANSI, etc.). Hands-on experience with construction, fabrication, and erection practices. Good understanding of P&IDs, piping specifications, and support standards. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills: Experience in Industrial Process Piping, Dairy Piping. Exposure to project management tools and reporting. Knowledge of welding, NDT, and QA/QC documentation.
