To accelerate our ecommerce performance, we are seeking an experienced Shopify professional who will play a key strategic role in scaling our online revenue.

Role Overview

The Senior Shopify Web Developer will be responsible for the end-to-end development, maintenance, and optimization of our Shopify ecommerce platform. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong Shopify customisation capability, and strategic thinking to improve store performance, conversions, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Shopify stores for performance and revenue growth.
• Create and customize Shopify themes using Liquid templating.
• Integrate Shopify apps, APIs, plugins, and custom functionalities as required.
• Conduct regular testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure platform stability.
• Improve UI/UX, mobile responsiveness, navigation flow, and overall customer experience.
• Implement optimization strategies to enhance speed, functionality, and conversions.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and provide timely technical support.
• Collaborate with ecommerce, design, and marketing teams for continuous improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years experience working on Shopify development (mandatory requirement).
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Shopify Liquid.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify Storefront API, AJAX API, and Metafields.
• Hands-on experience integrating Shopify apps and third-party APIs.
• Advanced debugging and troubleshooting capability using browser tools.
• Proven ability to develop responsive, mobile-optimized layouts.
• Understanding of ecommerce UX and conversion-focused site enhancements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Preferred Profile

• Experience working in ecommerce or D2C brands.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Ability to manage projects independently.
• Excellent communication + collaboration skills.
• Immediate joining availability.
