Job Description

As a Shopify Intern, your main responsibility will be to assist in the development and management of Shopify eCommerce stores. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Assist with Store Setup: - Help in the installation and configuration of new Shopify stores, including theme customization and app integration. - Product Management: - Assist in uploading products, writing product descriptions, managing product images, and ensuring all product details are accurate. - Theme Customization: - Assist in customizing Shopify themes using the platform's built-in editor or help modify templates under supervision. - Customer Support: - Assist with customer inquiries, order tracking, and support tasks, ensuring a positive customer experience. - Order Management: - Help process orders, monitor inventory, and manage returns and exchanges. - SEO & Content Optimization: - Assist with basic SEO tasks (like writing meta descriptions, optimizing product pages, and enhancing site content). - Analytics & Reporting: - Help track website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Shopify reports to understand customer behavior and store performance. - Testing & Quality Assurance: - Assist in testing new features or designs, ensuring functionality and a smooth user experience. - Marketing Support: - Assist with the creation and scheduling of promotional campaigns, email marketing, and social media promotions. - Learning & Development: - Participate in training sessions and workshops to gain a deeper understanding of Shopify, eCommerce, and digital marketing. Qualifications required for this role include: - Interest in eCommerce: A strong desire to learn about eCommerce platforms, particularly Shopify. - Basic Knowledge of Shopify: Familiarity with the Shopify platform or willingness to learn quickly. - Basic HTML/CSS: Some understanding of HTML and CSS is a plus, or a willingness to learn basic web development. - Attention to Detail: Ability to work meticulously with product details and ensure accuracy in data. - Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to assist customers and communicate clearly with the team. - Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and troubleshoot them, with guidance from the team when necessary. - Team Player: Ability to collaborate with others, taking direction and contributing to team tasks as needed. This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday to Friday, located in person.,
