About the Role

Shopify Developer

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain
Shopify themes
using
Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
.
Create
custom sections & components
without using third-party apps.
Implement
landing pages optimized for ad campaigns
(Meta, Google, Taboola, Programmatic).
Perform
website speed optimization
for both desktop and mobile (Core Web Vitals).
Good understanding of
AJAX
, JSON, Shopify API, App blocks, metafields
Build and modify
Cart Drawer, Mini Cart, Product Bundles, Free Gift logic
, etc.
Customize
Checkout UI
, shipping logic, COD rules, and offer flows (Shopify Plus not mandatory).
Develop and integrate
Webhooks & REST / GraphQL APIs
.
Implement
Custom Pixels, GTM, Meta CAPI, Google Analytics 4
etc.
Debug & resolve
Liquid errors
, theme conflicts, console issues, and front-end bugs.
Manage
Metaobjects, metafields
, custom dynamic data structures.
Setup custom
Loyalty Rewards / Wallet / Coins / Cashback Systems
.
Identify & manage
RTO control automation
,
fraud orders
, and
duplicate customer tracking
.
Work with
Payment Gateway integrations
, COD control rules & Prepaid boosts.
Ensure
cross-browser compatibility
, responsive layouts, and accessibility.
Work closely with marketing & performance teams to
improve conversion rate (CRO)
.
