Job Title: Shopify Developer (AI & Plugin Integration Specialist)

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Shopify Developer who can elevate our online store experience as well as Retail by integrating cutting-edge AI tools, automating workflows, and optimizing plugins to drive performance, personalization, and sales. The ideal candidate will combine strong Shopify development skills with a keen understanding of emerging AI technologies and their practical use in e-commerce as well as Retail.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores (themes, templates, and front-end/back-end logic).
• Integrate and manage AI tools for product recommendations, customer engagement, and content automation.
• Install, configure, and optimize Shopify apps and plugins for improved UX, SEO, and conversion.
• Work closely with design, marketing, and product teams to align store features with business goals.
• Troubleshoot and debug store issues to ensure smooth functionality and performance.
• Enhance store speed, security, and responsiveness across devices.
• Implement automation solutions for catalog updates, inventory management, and customer journey mapping.
• Stay updated on the latest Shopify features, APIs, and AI trends relevant to e-commerce.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of Shopify Plus, Flow, and Hydrogen (preferred).
• Knowledge of AI tools or APIs (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Jasper, or similar e-commerce automation tools).
• Experience integrating third-party apps, plugins, and APIs into Shopify.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and SEO plugins.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and conversion-focused design.

Good to Have

• Experience with AI-based personalization tools (e.g., LimeChat, Clerk.io, Vue.ai).
• Knowledge of Python or Node.js for AI or automation workflows.
• Exposure to e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce.
• Interest in exploring AI-driven marketing and visual content tools.
