Shipping & Freight Forwarding Executive

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Shipping & Freight Forwarding Executive to join our Shipping Department. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in international shipping, freight forwarding, and rate comparison, along with hands-on knowledge of shipping software and MS Office tools, especially Excel.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate international shipping and logistics operations.
• Handle freight forwarding procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Obtain, analyze, and compare freight rates from multiple carriers and forwarders.
• Negotiate rates and maintain strong relationships with shipping partners.
• Process shipments, track deliveries, and ensure timely dispatch.
• Prepare shipping documents (BL, AWB, Invoice, Packing List, COO, etc.).
• Use shipping management software and ERP tools for data entry and shipment tracking.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports, dashboards, and MIS using Excel.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, payments, and vendor communications.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order fulfillment.
• Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 1–3 years experience in international shipping & freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of global logistics, INCOTERMS, customs requirements, and export processes.
• Ability to analyze, compare, and negotiate freight rates.
• Proficiency in shipping software, online portals, and ERP systems.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Reporting).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

• Preferred QualificationsExperience working with forwarders, carriers, and international couriers.
• Knowledge of import documentation is an added advantage.
