Job Title: Shipping & Freight Forwarding Executive The ideal candidate must have strong experience in shipping , freight forwarding , and rate comparison , along with hand on knowledge of shipping software and MS Office tools, especially Excel.
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Shipping & Freight Forwarding Executive to join our Shipping Department. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in international shipping , freight forwarding , and rate comparison , along with hands-on knowledge of shipping software and MS Office tools, especially Excel. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate international shipping and logistics operations. Handle freight forwarding procedures , documentation, and compliance requirements. Obtain, analyze, and compare freight rates from multiple carriers and forwarders. Negotiate rates and maintain strong relationships with shipping partners. Process shipments, track deliveries, and ensure timely dispatch. Prepare shipping documents (BL, AWB, Invoice, Packing List, COO, etc.). Use shipping management software and ERP tools for data entry and shipment tracking. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports , dashboards, and MIS using Excel. Maintain accurate records of shipments, payments, and vendor communications. Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order fulfillment. Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 1–3 years experience in international shipping & freight forwarding . Strong knowledge of global logistics , INCOTERMS, customs requirements, and export processes. Ability to analyze, compare, and negotiate freight rates . Proficiency in shipping software , online portals, and ERP systems. Strong skills in Microsoft Office , especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Reporting). Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Preferred QualificationsExperience working with forwarders, carriers, and international couriers . Knowledge of import documentation is an added advantage.
