Shift Supervisor

Job Summary:

Responsible for supervising and coordinating machining operations across VMC, Surface Grinding, Wire Cut, and EDM sections during assigned shifts. Ensures production targets, quality standards, and safety norms are met while managing operators and maintaining equipment efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and allocate daily work to VMC, Surface Grinding, Wire Cut, and EDM operators.
• Monitor machining processes and ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Review job setup, tool selection, and machining parameters for accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure parts meet required tolerances, dimensions, and surface finish as per drawing.
• Conduct in-process inspections and maintain records for quality compliance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain discipline, attendance, and shift handover logs.
• Train operators on process improvements, tool handling, and machine safety.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and consumables.
• Implement and maintain 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards in the shop floor.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of CNC machining (VMC), Surface Grinding, Wire Cut, and EDM processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and machining symbols.
• Leadership and team-handling skills.
• Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance and quality inspection methods.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,780.62 - ₹50,665.92 per month
