Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

1. Adherence of production schedule and ensure to produce & deliver quality output.

2. Ensure documentation of production data through proper record keeping on job cards & log books in compliance with Quality management system

3. To carry Machine setting and monitoring & control of cycle time of many manufacturing product

4. Achieve zero percent downtime in the plant due to non-availability of manpower and ensure availability of skilled resources for each process.

5. Ensure availability of packing material and provide clear plans at shop floor for daily dispatches.

6. To coordinate & participate in implementation of annual initiatives and take part in deciding its implementation strategy with seniors and team members.

7. To ensure in process inspections are not skipped and defect data is fully captured

8. To be watchful of wasteful usage of power and ensure timely detection of any leakages leading to poor energy utilization.

9. To ensure that all team members deployed on shop floor are fully trained as per the processes and systems outlined in the IMS.

10. Be aware of and keep abrest with necessary changes being made in companies IMS under ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001.

11. Be able to Clearly communicate with manpower regarding shift allocation, work distribution and time to time rules and regulation

12. Maintain relationship with all workers and be able to forewarn any potential workers concern that may lead to attrition/challenges on the shop floor.

13. Escalate any disciplinary issue or safety lapses to seniors from time to time for immediate action.

14. To assist in skill gap assessment of all workers.

15. To organize training programme necessary to upgrade multi skilling of workers.

16. Ensure the shop floor is always kept organized (5S) and coordinate with housekeeping agency to achieve cleanliness.

17. Able to drive team to achieve KPI/KRA laid in Balanced score card

Non Critical Role and Responsibilities

18. Need to resolve workers conflict and maintain motivation atmosphere at shop floor

19. To help workers to articulate potential kaizens.

20. Identify the opportunities for improvement and its implementation

Training provided by the company during probation

1) Understanding of all company policies

2) Understanding of key SOP and processed of your function

3) 30-60-90 day activity plan

4) Over view of Process TAT

5) Managing and operating visual management system in the plant

Key Result Area (Outcome of Role more result oriented)
