Mechanical Maintenance Manager-Jaipur

Role & responsibilities

1. Develop Maintenance Schedules and Enforce Execution

• Create detailed maintenance schedules and ensure they are followed rigorously.

2. Budgeting, Monitoring, and Control Maintenance Costs

• Manage the maintenance budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures.

3. Troubleshooting Specialist Equipment

• Diagnose and repair issues with specialized equipment such as PLCs and VFDs.

4. Upkeep Health of Machines with Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maintain machine health.

5. Use Proven Methodology for Maintenance Excellence

• Apply established methodologies to drive maintenance excellence within the plant.

6. Improve MTBF vs. MTTR

• Work on improving Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).

7. Reduce or Control Energy Costs

• Implement strategies to reduce or control energy consumption and costs.

8. Maintenance of Utility Equipment

• Ensure the proper maintenance of utility equipment like compressors, DG sets, and cranes.

9. Monitor and Improve Life Cycle of Critical Spare Parts

• Track and enhance the life cycle of critical spare parts.

10. Communication with Client Departments and Colleagues

• Maintain effective communication with client departments, customers, and other engineering and production colleagues.

11. Maintain & Improve Health and Safety Policies

• Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are maintained and improved.

12. Prepare and Submit Weekly Reports

• Prepare and submit weekly reports to reporting authorities and management.

13. Plan Resources for Machine Maintenance

• Plan and allocate resources required for machine maintenance on the shop floor.

14. Monitor & Drive Preventive Tasks

• Oversee a team of specialists to carry out daily preventive maintenance tasks.

15. Liaison with Government Bodies

• Liaise with AEN/JEN and other government bodies as required.

Non-Critical Roles and Responsibilities

16. Study OEM Manuals

• Continuously update knowledge by studying OEM manuals.

17. Communication with Cross-Functional Teams
