Shift Manager Maintenance - Mechanical

Purpose/Objective

Engineer - Mechanical (CT) is responsible for supporting the Head of Section - CT (Mechanical) in maintaining and improving the mechanical operations at the Container Terminal. This role involves assisting in the maintenance of mechanical equipment, contributing to mechanical projects, and ensuring that all mechanical activities are conducted safely and in line with professional standards.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Mechanical Maintenance Support: Assist in the maintenance of mechanical equipment within the Container Terminal, contributing to high equipment availability and performance. Maintenance Program Assistance: Support the implementation of mechanical preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns and maximize lifespan. Project Management: Contribute to mechanical projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and align with the terminal's operational needs. Spare Parts Management: Assist in managing the inventory of spare parts for mechanical equipment, ensuring availability and cost-effective stock control. Documentation and Reporting: Manage processes and documentation per IMS/Safety SOPs; prepare analytical reports, including monthly maintenance performance MIS for mechanical equipment. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all electrical maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of safety within the team. Digital Mindset: Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitivenes. Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Essential) Work Experience: Minimum 5-7 years experience in mechanical maintenance
