Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional with 4 to 12 years of experience to lead our mechanical maintenance team at Asahi India Glass Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance and leadership.

Roles and Responsibility

Oversee the development and implementation of mechanical maintenance strategies to ensure optimal plant performance.
Lead and manage a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve technical issues promptly.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement in mechanical maintenance processes.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for spare parts and equipment procurement.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in all aspects of mechanical maintenance activities.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance leadership roles, preferably in the glass industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and problem-solving techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical maintenance.
