Shift Engineer

OCS Group India is hiring for Shift Engineer!!

Location: Ulwe (Navi Mumbai)

Experience: - 8 to 9 years.

Salary :- upto 43k

Notice period:- immediate to 2 months

This person shall be the in-charge of the operation activities during his / her shift.

Should be controlling all site activities ongoing in the shift.

All people working in his shift shall report to him.

This person shall also carry out the operation activities of Civil project / equipment operation.

Responsibilities shall include

1.Taking over shift activity from previous shift engineer

2. Operating the substation as per the operation requirements and as per SOPs

3. Coordinate & issue operational instructions of internal projects and equipment operations of the system

4. Monitoring the parameters and tracking the trips and alarms in the system during the shift 5. Initial trouble shooting in case of any alarm, tripping, abnormality

6. To decide the best option for operation under a given situation, considering that safety of personnel, equipment and continuity of operation are the priorities in this specific order

7. Communicating to the concerned all events in the shift as per the reporting procedure

8. Be the single contact point for all communication with Helpdesk

9. Issue all work permits & receiving back all work permits, with specific care about EHS

10. Promptly Recording all activities in the shift register

11. Handing over the shift activity at the end of the shift, to the shift engineer of the next shift

12. To ensure EHS rules are followed at site

13. To ensure that 5s is followed at all work locations.

14. Behave well with all, be polite, cooperate and share with all stakeholders.

15. Be proactive, have inclination & make efforts to learn and increase competency on a continuous basis

16. For the equipment / systems for which a shift engineer is made responsible, he shall be responsible for the activities
