Sheet Metal Production Manager & NPD

Location: Bahadurgarh, Baadli Gurgaon Road (Haryana)

Reports To: General Manager /Director

Experience Required: 15+ years in Sheet Metal Production & NPD (Automobile Industry)

We are seeking a experienced Sheet Metal Production Manager & NPD Lead to oversee production operations and drive new product development initiatives. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in sheet metal processes such as stamping and forming, - rebittingalong with a strong understanding of automotive quality and NPD practices.

Key Responsibilities ‒ Production Management

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise day-to-day production activities for sheet metal components.
• Ensure optimal use of manpower, machinery, and materials to meet production targets.
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement techniques to boost productivity.
• Improve production efficiency by reducing cycle times and minimizing waste.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Work with maintenance teams to reduce downtime and enhance machine reliability.
• Track and evaluate KPIs to drive continuous operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities ‒ New Product Development (NPD)

• Lead development and launch of new sheet metal components for automotive applications.
• Collaborate with design/R&D; teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Oversee prototype creation and validation as per customer and industry standards.
• Manage tooling and fixture development for new product introductions.
• Coordinate with suppliers for raw materials, dies, and specialized components.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost evaluation for new projects.
• Drive APQP and PPAP activities for new product approvals.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical expertise in sheet metal, stamping, forming and rebiting process.
• Skilled in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or for design interpretation.
• Hands-on experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement systems.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and automotive quality standards.
• Experience in tooling and die development for sheet metal products.
• Strong leadership abilities with proven team management experience.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Qualifications

Diploma and Bachelor’ s degree inTool and Die manufacturing

Candidate must be from 25 kms from Bahadurgarh or ready to relocate

.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
