At Upstox we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Settlement Operations team. The role involves ensuring smooth and timely settlement of trades, handling corporate actions, regulatory reporting, reconciliations, and client servicing. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of capital market settlement processes and be eager to contribute to operational excellence.What You'll Own:
Manage Retail Trade Settlement, including equity pay-in/pay-out of sharesOversee auction settlement and closeout processesHandle corporate actions by identifying eligible clients and ensuring timely distribution of entitlements (Dividend, Bonus, Split, Sub-Division, Merger, Demerger, etc.)Process pledge/unpledge requests of shares from clientsSupport system enhancements through testing and implementation of back-office changesEnsure timely and accurate regulatory reportingPerform reconciliation of Demat holdings across Pool, CUSA, and other Demat accountsRespond to client queries, audit queries, and inspection requirementsLiaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues and drive improvementsWho You Are:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or related fieldStrong working knowledge of retail trade settlement across capital market productsProficiency In MS Excel (knowledge Of Advanced Functions Preferred)
Familiarity with depositories, clearing corporations, and settlement cyclesExcellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skillsAbility to work independently as well as in a teamDetail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timelinessOpenness to leveraging AI-driven tools and automation for enhancing efficiency in settlement processesWhy This Role Rocks:
