Type: Contract

Location: Remote

Work Time: PST TIMEZONE (From 9 PM IST Onwards)

Rate: $30 per hour


ServiceNow ITOM Developer


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy Service Maps using Discovery patterns.
  • Develop and implement data mapping solutions between ServiceNow and external systems.
  • Ensure data consistency and integrity during migrations and integrations.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via Integration Hub, APIs, and MID Servers.
  • Customize ServiceNow modules and workflows based on business requirements.
  • Perform unit and integration testing to validate successful data flow.
  • Document mapping logic, workflows, and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and provide ongoing support for mapping/integration issues.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to align on data and process requirements.
  • Monitor, optimize, and recommend enhancements to integration and mapping processes.
  • Participate in release planning related to mapping and data integrations.


Top Skills Required:

  1. Service Mapping

    (Hands-on experience designing and deploying)

  2. Discovery

    (Configuration and optimization of patterns and probes)

  3. ITOM & CMDB Expertise

    (Deep understanding of structure and relationships)


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with

    7+ years of experience

    in ServiceNow ITOM, Discovery & Service Mapping.
  • Expertise in:
  • Integration tools: Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server.
  • Data Transformation tools: Import Sets, Data Sources, Transform Maps.
  • ServiceNow Scripting (JavaScript).
  • SQL and relational database querying.
  • Familiarity with integration protocols: REST, SOAP, FTP, SFTP.
  • Understanding of ITIL v3 processes.


Certifications (Required/Preferred):

  • ✅ ServiceNow Certified –

    ITOM Discovery & Service Mapping

  • ✅ ServiceNow Certified –

    Application Developer

  • ✅

    ITIL v3

    Certification

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication (written and verbal)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Presentation and documentation skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team and lead initiatives


Additional Notes:

  • Remote role

    (Open to

    offshore

    resources)
  • Targeting vendors who can provide strong

    ServiceNow ITOM/Service Mapping

    talent with offshore availability.
