ServiceNow Developer(ITSM)

Industry:

• Design, configure, and script ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, and Catalog.
• Develop client scripts, UI policies, business rules, and integrations to automate workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Implement and maintain REST and SOAP integrations with external systems using IntegrationHub and custom APIs.
• Optimize CMDB data models, discovery patterns, and service mapping for accurate asset visibility.
• Collaborate with product owners to translate user stories into secure, scalable platform features.
• Enforce platform governance, code reviews, and best practices to ensure performance and compliance.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must Have

• 3 plus years hands on ServiceNow development across core ITSM modules.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and Service Portal widgets.
• Experience building REST or SOAP based integrations and troubleshooting MID Server connectivity.
• Solid understanding of CMDB, data normalization, and configuration item relationships.
• Agile delivery mindset with Git based version control and CI/CD exposure.
  

Preferred

• Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM or Application Developer.
• Knowledge of ITOM, Discovery, Event Management, or SecOps.
• Experience with Performance Analytics and Reporting.
