Job Description

As a ServiceNow Developer at Perficient, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions with a primary focus on ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB modules. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance business processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure a seamless user experience for our clients. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment while contributing significantly to business transformations. In this role, you will be responsible for ServiceNow Development, including designing, configuring, and implementing ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB solutions to align with business objectives and streamline processes. Additionally, you will be involved in Customization & Automation tasks, such as customizing ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI actions, and notifications to automate tasks and enhance operational efficiency. Integration tasks will also be a key aspect of your role, where you will develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications using REST, SOAP, and other technologies. Your role will also encompass Troubleshooting & Support responsibilities, where you will provide ongoing technical support, troubleshoot platform issues, and ensure the stability and performance of the ServiceNow environment. Moreover, you will be involved in CMDB Management, optimizing and maintaining the CMDB, configuring CI classes, attributes, and relationships, and managing integrations with Discovery and other ITOM tools. To excel in this position, you should possess 3-6 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with expertise in ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB modules. Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript), integration (REST/SOAP APIs), and platform customization is essential. Holding certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ITIL certification would be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration abilities, and a deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities are key attributes for success in this role.
