Servicenow Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules, especially within the ITSM suite (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management).

• 
  Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other internal/external systems using REST, SOAP, MID Server, or IntegrationHub.

• 
  Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• 
  Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for developed functionalities.

• 
  Create and maintain technical documentation for workflows, scripts, integrations, and customizations.

• 
  Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow configurations and integrations.

• 
  Stay updated with new ServiceNow releases and features, and recommend upgrades where applicable.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• 
  3–5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.

• 
  Strong expertise in ITSM modules.

• 
  Experience with scripting in ServiceNow (JavaScript, Glide API).

• 
  Proven experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, or MID Server.

• 
  Familiarity with ServiceNow update sets, ACLs, business rules, client scripts, UI policies/actions, and workflows.

• 
  ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 
  Experience with CMDB, Discovery, or other ServiceNow modules is a plus.

• 
  ITIL v3/v4 Foundation certification is desirable.
