Job Summary:

ServiceNow Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop customized applications on the

    ServiceNow platform

    including workflows, UI actions, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and data imports.
  • Implement and manage

    ITSM modules

    such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB.
  • Work on

    ServiceNow modules

    such as ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC, or CSM depending on business requirements.
  • Develop and configure

    ServiceNow Integrations

    (REST, SOAP, MID Servers) with external systems.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in

    Agile/Scrum ceremonies

    and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, change management, and release processes.
  • Support platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews for quality assurance.
  • Ensure the platform follows

    best practices for security, performance, and scalability

    Virtual Agent

  • ServiceNow Certifications such as

    Certified System Administrator (CSA)

    Certified Application Developer (CAD)

    , or module-specific certifications (e.g., ITSM, ITOM) are highly preferred.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to lead small technical teams or guide junior developers.

  • Comfortable working in a

    fast-paced, dynamic environment

    with cross-functional teams.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to ServiceNow

    Architectural design

    or

    Technical Lead

    roles.
  • Experience in working with

    global delivery models

  • Experience with

    DevOps pipelines

    for ServiceNow (CI/CD).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of ServiceNow development experience across multiple modules.
